It’s a delightful tale of life on board a pirate ship for a Mouse.
And it’s so nice to see a female role for the central character. A real rarity, especially in pirate stories. The illustrations focus on the main characters and are really distinct. I like that the pages aren’t busy and distracting with small details. They don’t need to be.

A fabulous story for children of all ages!
We have been so excited knowing that a 2nd book was being published by Kirstie Watson and it definitely didn’t disappoint!
It was a welcomed treat during lock-down and was well received by both the 3 and 6 year old!
It is now on the favourites shelf in my sons room although I quite often find it’s been snuck into my daughters room! I have a feeling that I will need to buy a 2nd copy!
